Key Account Managers Responsibilities
·Developing appropriate sales plans for existing customers and prospective customers alike in order to achieve annual sales targets in terms of revenue, profit and units.
·Identifying, prospecting, pursuing and closing competitive strategic sales opportunities.
·Building external relationships with key people within customer and prospect organisations to enable long-term partnerships to be developed.
·Acting as the Interface with Contract Management and Service teams to deliver high levels of customer service.
·Gathering and analysing relevant market data to identify emerging commercial opportunities and trends within prospective accounts/market sector.
·Ensuring accurate and timely completion of placing orders and generating quotations, as specified by the company.
·Working in conjunction with the National or Regional Account sales teams to close strategic sales opportunities.
·A proven track record in direct sales within the materials handling sector.
·Excellent presentation and communication skills.
·Detailed industry and product knowledge with a solid understanding of marketing principles and account planning.
·Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
·Strong IT skills.

Basic Salary £35K-£40K (D.O.E.) + very lucrative commission structure.
