Area Sales Manager – South East

What you will do:

·Promote and sell the range of roofing products within their designated area for the new build and roof refurbishment sector.
·Achieve pre-agreed sales targets by growing and maintaining customer base
·Support further market development and penetration using new product technology and to continue selling the existing product technologies
·Build and develop strong relationships, growing the business and maximizing customer relations, to ensure high-performance and achievement of sales targets.
·Focus on refurbishment clients to create opportunities for our client in the roofing market and to improve company profitability and to sustain their brand.
·Lead and participate in a variety of activities to educate and promote both existing and new products to target audiences. Maintaining and developing relationships with key decision makers within the roofing market.
·Use full functionality of salesforce.com to plan and manage relationships with contractors, architects, specifiers and specialist contractors
·Ensure you are up-to date with the competition and own professional and personal development.

What you will have:

·Must have experience of specification sales market within the roofing/construction industry and current technologies
·Proven sales record in and understanding of specification related sales and the construction market
·Recognises interpersonal dynamics and effective negotiation skills
·Can demonstrate technical acumen
·Can develop a strategic plan and interpret financial data.
·Can combine selling skills with strong communication and presentation skills
·Ability to solve problems through solutions
·Self-motivated, self-reliant and resilient
·Capable of building strong relationships with a variety of characters and personalities.
