Strategic Key Account Manager – London £50-55k Basic £75-80k OTE + Car Allowance
Our client is synonymous within their field and is part of an internationally recognised brand. They have ambitious plans to grow their market offering and with support of a significant marketing budget and investment into their new product development are set to reignite this market sector.
As Business Development Manager you will take accountability for targeting accounts within the FTSE 100. You will act as the business lead and grow the category within our existing customer base. You will work with our client’s estate, managing site audits, advising on wellbeing, and looking for opportunities to grow our visibility.
- Managing New Business & growing the accounts profitably
- Direct customer contact across all relevant functions.
- Drive distribution of existing and new products.
- Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions within Business guidelines.
- Deliver price increases.
- Manage effective communication of Brand plans to the Customer Base
Whilst you will be fully supported by the Sales Director to whom you report; the emphasis will very much be on you to show how you can deliver and grow the Business. The category in which the role operates will need you to show resilience and utilise your skills effectively in working with senior procurement and facilities contacts . The Business offers successful employees a clear structured career path which they can follow across the several divisions they operate.
The ideal candidate will have gained strong experience of Account Management, ideally selling into the FTSE 500.
Financial Acumen and Strong Negotiations skills are a must.
